So he made arrangements for them to dine outdoors in a park and instructed them all to wear white so they'd recognize their dinner friends. Now this elegant practice has spread to cities worldwide as a gathering of entire communities and comes back to Columbia on September 6! Read the rules below-- Dress code: wear white\, light khaki acceptable for men's pants -- Bring your own table and seating -- White tablecloth\, cloth napkins\, glassware\, candles\, and elegant decor are encouraged -- NO paper\, plastic or styrofoam allowed. -- Bring your own food-- Home cooked\, catered\, or drive through carry out-- as long as it's beautifully served. -- Bring water and a trash bag for wiping down dishes and taking every trace of the dinner away--leaving downtown better than we found it!
